We have worked with fire alarm systems since 2009 — and specialised in them ever since.

Volt was founded in 2013 and builds on solid experience and a clear vision of professional fire protection. The owners have worked with fire alarm systems since 2009, shaping everything we do — from consulting and design to installation, service and maintenance.

Volt is an accredited service provider for fire alarm systems, accredited by the Icelandic Housing and Construction Authority (HMS, formerly Mannvirkjastofnun). We are a licensed electrical contractor, work according to the Icelandic Fire Prevention Act, and deal with most fire-alarm suppliers in Iceland — so we can find the right equipment for every project.

Our clients range from public institutions such as the Icelandic Parliament and Laugardalshöll arena to schools, hotels and businesses. What they share is a demand for reliability, safety and professional service.
